So what does it take to be a successful woman in 2014? Luck, talent, good looks, great intelligence, an ability to motivate and inspire ... what do you think? Clara Bow is one of my all time favourites; an acting ability and sense of comic timing that still shines in those grainy old films and a personal life that was considered racy and notorious in her day. But how far have we come since the early days of film? Are women judged differently and are there more opportunties to follow your dream nowadays? Explore with young women those females who made their mark in history to motivate the great women of tomorrow, whether they are going to be actresses, singers, politicians or scientists.

After all, if Debbie Harry can still rock at 68 that has to be an inspiration to the rest of us to get up and live our dream!
