Who is it for?
Vanessa Rogers offers a wide range of training and staff development opportunities for those working with young people aged 13-19 (up to 25 with additional needs) in voluntary, statutory or private sector youth services.
As an experienced youth worker, Vanessa can also offer courses for young people, including peer mentoring, senior member training and 'train the trainer' opportunities.
What is offered?
A recognised specialist in youth work and social education, Vanessa provides practical 'hands on' workshops that encourage participation, motivation and creative youth work in a style that is fun as well as thought provoking.
There are a wide range of one-day courses to choose from, incuding detached youth work, and Vanessa is constantly developing new ways for youth services to respond to local and national youth issues. It is also possible to book workshops or ‘taster sessions’ suitable for conferences, meetings or events. Longer courses are available for more in-depth learning, including delivering recognised accredited professional development courses for organisations.
Alternatively, you can commission Vanessa direct to write a bespoke in-house training programme specifically for your organisation. Tailored to suit the learning needs of both workers and young people, this option can allow greater flexibility and be a cost effective way of maximizing learning. Please contact Vanessa Rogers to discuss your requirements and prices for this service.
Finally, if you like Vanessa's training style and would like the resources to deliver programmes yourself have a look at Vanessa Rogers Training Pack . Complete with training plan and handouts, this is a money saving approach that can be used again and again.
